Job Title: Night Cleaning Janitorial Services (Overnight Shift)

Exemption Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Local Supervisor

Qualities: Well Organized, Personable, Willingness to Learn, Mature, Responsible, Team Player, Punctual.

Job Summary:

The Night Cleaning Associate is responsible for all daily facets of cleanliness in their assigned area. The Night Cleaning Associate will adhere to and implement all policies and procedures of Ace Staffing. Adherence to all unique local hotel policies is also required. The associate is expected to work independently under the direction of the local supervisor, hotel department management and regional or corporate management.

Duties may include but are not limited to the following items:

  • Able to perform repetitive work.
  • Load dishwasher with dirty dishes as needed.
  • Follows proper scraping, sorting and stacking procedures.
  • Ensure all areas of responsibility are cleaned properly.
  • Stack and store items properly in their assigned areas.
  • Vacuum carpet, sweep and/or mop kitchen, back hallway, dumpster and back of house areas as assigned.
  • Clean kitchen equipment in assigned area.
  • Clean walls as needed.
  • Inspect and refill paper towels, and hand soap at all wash basing throughout assigned areas as needed.
  • Removes trash from assigned areas at appropriate times or as directed by supervisor.
  • Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by kitchen supervisor.
  • Knowledge of safety rules for kitchen equipment.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 pounds.
  • Follow safe work practices at all times. Ensure the safety of fellow employees, as well as employees and guests of the hotel.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Supervisor.
